Transparency / Declaration of Interests

Professor Dr. Til Ole Bergmann has been a university professor for neurostimulation at the University Medical Center Mainz since 2020 and has been an associated group leader at the Leibniz Institute for Resilience Research since 2020. In addition, he works part-time at the University of Tübingen and in Fribourg, Switzerland. Since 2018, he has not received any personal honoraria for consulting, continuing education events, lectures, or statements from pharmaceutical companies or medical device manufacturers. Between 2018 and 2020, he received research funding from the non-profit Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation to establish the Neurostimulation Research Group at the Leibniz Institute for Resilience Research, and from 2020 to 2023, he received further funding for the University of Mainz to provide seed funding as part of a BMBF call for proposals: funding component Structural Professorship "Neurostimulation".
